Job Description
We are looking for a great PHP Backend developer who is proficient with PHP frameworks to work on several projects. The ideal candidate will be a PHP expert that can create solutions for complex problems and will possess a deep understanding of the entire web development process. As for a developer, great emphasis will be on the quality and maintainability of your code. You will write pragmatic and elegant code with great attention to detail. You will have to work with stakeholders across the product lifecycle. As a developer, you’ll be working on projects of all sizes ranging from small MVPs for budding to complex applications for much larger companies. You’ll play a meaningful role in shaping how our company practices development across various types of projects.
Requirements
- Expert-level knowledge and practical experience with PHP (2 years preferred)
- Strong proficiency in OOP (algorithms, web apps architecture)
- Solid understanding of Databases and their modeling principles
- Experience with popular PHP frameworks (such as Laravel, Yii, Zend)
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements
- English at least Intermediate level (speaking and writing)
It will be a plus
- Experience working with Bitbucket or GitHub, JIRA and Agile (Scrum) methodology;
- TDD
- Experience with CMS-s: Magento, WordPress, etc
Responsibilities
- Implementation of logic, and APIs with the use of PHP frameworks
- Translating requirements into high-quality code
- Creating applications, potential opportunity to work on Laravel apps
- 3d party services integrations: Google API, Facebook API, etc
- Participate in pre-sales activities
